Armand has been in private practice as an Herbalist since 1974, Massage Therapist since 1975, SDT Therapist since 1980. He has studied at the following Institutions:

Taught manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT- Vancouver, B.C.) 1985-1990 inclusive.

He has drawn and set up the following programmes which he has taught at the Dominion Herbal College between 1995- 2004: Herbal History, Herbal and Natural Medicine Philosophy and the Clinical Herbalist-Aromatherapy.

He has originated and developed Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy (SDTT) during the late 1970s, by observation of common landmarks of the human body and their relationship to structural disease. He has been teaching this method to Physiotherapists and registered Massage Therapists since mid- 1980’s.

He has given lectures, presentations and workshops on SDTT in B.C. and across Canada, Herbal Medicine and Herbal-Aromatherapy on TV in Toronto, at the MTA of B.C. and other Canadian Colleges and Health and Wellness Symposia. He has written articles on SDTT in the B.C. Massage Practitioner and the Ontario Journal of Soft Tissue Manipulation. He has written articles on Herbal-Aromatherapy and Massage Therapy in Canadian Health Magazines and has contributed to the “External Healing Methods” section of the Encyclopedia of Natural Healing.
